 I nostri alloggi FONTANA CALDA sono situati sotto il Monte San Calogero, famoso per le grotte naturali vaporose, a 10 minuti (4km) di macchina da SCIACCA Terme e dal mare. La casa è immersa nel verde di un bellissimo e secolare uliveto di ca. 3 ha. Il nostro ulivo piu vecchio ha ca. 2000 anni. La zona garantisce assoluta tranquillità.
Nel pianterreno abitiamo noi = mio marito Massimo (siciliano), nostro figlio David (1/3 tedesco e 2/3 siciliano) ed io, Doris (tedesca, che vive da piu di 10 anni a Sciacca) . Poi ci sono anche la nostra cagna Rubbia ed il gatto Chip.
Al primo piano (mansarda) abbiamo realizzato (Giugno 2004) 4 bellissimi appartamenti, completamente arredati ed attrezzati. Ogni alloggio dispone di:
SAT-Tv e HiFi, cucina a 4 fuochi, cappa di aspirazione, lavello, frigo con congelatore, stoviglie etc.(non manca niente!), impianto d'aria condizionata, riscaldamento, ventilatore, zanzariere, Sat-TV, biancheria da letto, asciugamani, tovaglie, sapone, detersivo, sale, zucchero, aceto, olio d'oliva extra vergine dal nostro uliveto, aromi, tostapane, balcone o terrazza con tavolo, seggiole, sdraio, barbecue + carboncino, ombrellino (anchè uno da portare in spiaggia), candele, stendibiancheria etc..
Libero accesso a internet (check up ed invio email), collegamento ad internet wireless.Tutti i nostri ospiti hanno a disposizione una lavatrice e detersivi per il bucato. Inoltre offriamo gratuitamente il nostro olio d'oliva extra vergine per tutta la permanenza. Posto auto privato e recintato. Soggiorni brevi accettati.
La splendida città di SCIACCA TERME (ca. 40.000 abitanti) si distende sulla costa sud della Sicilia, sulla famosa strada archeologica tra Selinunte ed Agrigento.
Sciacca è la più antica località termale dell'Isola e uno dei maggiori centri della costa sud - orientale. La città possiede risorse idrotermominerali tra le migliori al mondo. Presso il complesso termale si praticano diverse terapie. Inoltre, la cittadina è ricca di beni architettonici di gran valore e bellezza. Si possono visitare, infatti, costruzioni medievali ben conservate, ma anche palazzi cinque e seicenteschi, nonché un barocco di notevole fattura.
Il porto è uno dei più importanti in Sicilia, sopratutto per la formidabile flotta peschereccia, che dotata di modernissimi pescherecci d'alto mare rifornisce d'eccellente pescato diverso regione italiane. Il luogo vi riserva un bellissimo mare pulito e limpido, con le spiagge attrezzate per praticare ogni sorta di sport acquatico.
Il carnevale allegorico è uno dei più belli e famosi di tutta d'Italia.

 Our holiday domicile FONTANA CALDA is situated at the bottom of SAN CALOGERO mountain, which is very famous all over the world due to its natural vapour bath grottoes, good for rheumatism and neuralgia therapy. Our estate is about 4 km from the town centre of SCIACCA and also from the sea, situated in a rural and very peaceful idyll of about 30,000 square meters in the middle of a grove of olive trees. Our oldest olive tree has about 2000 years!!
In our large villa, we live in the ground floor: my husband Massimo, Sicilian (a very simpatico one), our son David, 1/3 German + 2/3 Sicilian (that's what he says) and last but non least me, Doris, German (who is living here in Sicily for more than 10 years). Part of our family is also Rubbia, our lovely dog and our cat Chip.
The four brand new (June 2004), nice and cosy apartments are situated on the first floor (mansard). All units are fully equipped with SAT-TV, Hi-Fi, fridge, toaster, heating, air condition, standing fans, linen and towels weekly change, our Olive Oil extra vergine during your stay, garden furniture (sunshade, chairs, table, storm lantern, candels), clotheshorse etc. All our guests can use the washing machine, the iron and ironing board, and our internet to check or send emails (+ wireless Internet access).

Arrival can be any day of the week. Minimum stay is one night.
The CASA FONTANA CALDA is the perfect place for a relaxing holiday, if you love the uncontaminated nature and if you don't want to miss the closeness of the sea. You will have a most impressive panoramic view. We are looking forward to our guests who prefer to live individually and to enjoy nevertheless a certain comfort.
SCIACCA (ca.40.000 inhabitants) is situated in the middle of the ancient Greek temples itinerary, on the famous archeological road between Selinunte and Agrigento. It's one of the oldest towns in the island. Sciacca is noted mostly for its Thermal Spa complex, it's beautiful beaches, and it's numerous artisan shops which specialize in ceramic ware.
Within few minutes drive you will find restaurants, pubs, banks, supermarkets, post office, hairdressers, cinemas, museum, churches and other visitor attractions. Within ten-minutes drive you will reach the finest beaches (rocks or sand, as you like).
There is an abundance of good, reasonably priced eating establishments in the area. These include pizzerias and restaurants. Anything from the plain and reasonably priced, to the more sophisticated palate are catered for. Public thermal swimming pool, 10 minutes far.
From Sciacca you can easily reach the most important sightseeing of Sicily in approximately 1 hour drive:

 Unser Feriendomizil FONTANA CALDA ("Warme Quelle") liegt am Fusse des Monte San Calogero, der weltweit aufgrund seiner natuerlichen Schwitzgrotten zur Behandlung u.a. von Rheuma und Neuralgien bekannt ist. Unser Anwesen liegt ca. 4 km vom Zentrum SCIACCA' und auch vom Meer entfernt in einer laendlichen und absolut ruhigen Idylle, auf einem etwa 30.000 qm grossen Grundstueck inmitten eines wunderschoenen Olivenhaines (unser aeltester Olivenbaum hat ca. 2000 Jahre!!). Die vier nagelneuen, mit viel Liebe eingerichteten Ferienappartements, die im Juni 2004 fertig gestellt wurden, befinden sich im 1. Stock (Mansarde) unserer Villa. Im Erdgeschoss wohnen wir: mein Mann Massimo, Sizilianer (ganz ein Lieber), unser Sohn David, 1/3 Deutscher + 2/3 Sizilianer (meint zumindest er!) und zu guter letzt ich, Doris, Deutsche (die aber nun schon seit ueber 10 Jahren in Sciacca lebt). Zur Familie gehoeren natuerlich auch unsere sympatische Huendin Rubbia und unser Kater Chip.
Unsere Appartements verfuegen alle ueber SAT-TV, Hi-Fi, Kuehlschrank mit Gefrierfach, Toaster, Tischwaesche, Bettwaesche, Handtuecher( werden einmal in der Woche gewechselt), Haarfoehn, Mueckennetze vor allen Fenstern, Gartenmoebel (Sonnenschirm, Tisch, Stuehle, Liegestuhl, Windlichter, Antimueckenkerzen), Waeschestaender, Standventilator, Sonnenschirm fuer den Strand, etc. Eingezaeunter Parkplatz. Mindestaufenthalt 1 Nacht. Anreisetag ist beliebig. Es besteht die Moeglichkeit den Computer, zwecks E-mail Empfang, zu benutzen (es steht auch ein wireless Empfang zur Verfuegung).
All unseren Gaesten stehen eine Waschmaschine,Waschpulver, Weichspueler, Buegeleisen und ein Buegelbrett zur Verfuegung.
SCIACCA (ca.40.000 Einwohner) ist ein huebsches, lebhaftes, typisch sizilianisches Staedtchen und liegt an der Suedkueste Siziliens, an der beruehmten archaeologischen Strasse zwischen Selinunt und Agrigent. Der Ort wurde im 7. Jahrhundert v. Chr. von den Bewohnern Selinunts gegruendet und ist somit eine der aeltesten Staedte Siziliens. Sie ist in Terrassen-Bauweise an einen Kalkfelsen gebaut. Sciacca hat eine einzigartig schoene Altstadt mit orientalischem Flair und ist vor allem aufgrund seiner heilkraeftigen warmen Thermen in der ganzen Welt bekannt. Auch die Kunstliebhaber kommen hier auf ihre Kosten - es gibt eine Reihe interessanter Denkmaeler zu besichtigen, insbesondere aus dem Mittelalter und dem Barock. Eine bezaubernde Landschaft, die rauhe Schoenheit der zerkluefteten Kueste und der wundervolle Sandstrand in Kombination mit dem gesunden und milden Meeresklima machen Sciacca zu einem idealen Kur- und Ferienzentrum. Die anerkannten Kureinrichtungen werden allen modernen Anspruechen gerecht.

Discounts for long stay during November, December, January, February and March. Arrival can be any day of the week.
